“Double, double toil and trouble; Fire burn and cauldron bubble.” We can’t help but recite Shakespeare’s lines from Macbeth as we roll into Halloween week and prepare for one of our favorite times of the year!  Halloween in Casa de Campo is not for the faint of heart! This weekend, Casa is getting spooky…

There is something about Halloween that inspires the creative genius in many of us. Whether it is the perfect way to adopt a secret alter ego, or just the opportunity to try and live a little outside of the box, Halloween and creativity seem to go hand in hand! This weekend Casa de Campo has prepared various activities for the community including a Halloween costume contest, and a golf cart decorating contest!

Go all out with your costumes and decorating ideas! These are fantastic family activities. Choosing a costume, or decorating your cart for the spookiest holiday of the year only requires a little imagination, some preparation, and deciding on a theme. Your theme can be anything! Think witches, ghouls, hocus-pocus, pumpkins, zombies, even a Sugar Skull! You can make your decorations and costumes as elaborate or as simple as you want. Just pick a theme and let your imagination run wild! There will be lots of prizes for the best costumes and best golf cart decoration – so pull out all the stops!

They will also be hosting a spook-tacular pumpkin carving event for the little ones, there will also be an exhilarating sack race, delicious cotton candy, and the chance to also interact with the animals at the petting zoo! This will be an eye-deal afternoon for the kids big and small!

So if you don’t have your costume planned yet or a theme, you better get going! This is going to be a fa-boo-lous weekend!
