During the magical week between Christmas and New Year’s Eve, Casa de Campo’s villa owners and residents enjoy a whirlwind of dinners, parties and events in Casa de Campo. And during that week, Claudio Silvestri, President and CEO of Premier Resort & Hotels, the management company for Casa de Campo, always reserves one evening to celebrate the holiday season with hotel guests.
So it was on Tuesday the 27th of December that Dr. Silvestri and his wife, Roswitha, hosted a magnificent cocktail and dinner party at their villa. An annual tradition, the Silvestri holiday party welcomes guests from all over the world who have chosen to celebrate this special time of the year at our wonderful Casa de Campo resort.
By welcoming these special guests into his home, Dr. Silvestri is not only thanking them for their patronage, but also introducing them to our Casa de Campo resort community, allowing them to glimpse beyond the hotel and into life in Casa de Campo……perhaps enticing them to one day make Casa de Campo their home too!
Upon arrival the lucky group of nearly 300 guests were greeted with a champagne cocktail and welcomed by Dr. and Mrs. Silvestri, their son Philip and his girlfriend, Rebecca.
With many golf enthusiasts amongst this diverse group of guests, the primary topic of conversation was unsurprisingly the Teeth of the Dog golf course — the Silvestri’s villa offers a magnificent view of it’s oceanfront hole #8, located right next to their palm-bordered pool area and garden.
From cocktails on the terrace around the candlelit pool, guests dined under the stars on a delicious feast catered by the Beach Club by Le Cirque restaurant. Whilst dining, guests were treated to a magnificent entertainment showcase, featuring classical ballet by the ENDANZA ballet school, as well as traditional Dominican folkloric ballet, which ended with some participation from the audience, as visitors were invited to join the dancers on stage to experience a little Dominican merengue dancing.
