Save the date! Following the great success of the 1st annual Casa de Campo Corre fun run and marathon, the Hogar del Nino is now planning the second edition – and this year they are including a FULL marathon route!
The 2nd annual Casa de Campo Corre by the Hogar del Nino will take place on Saturday November 29th and has options for all ages and abilities. There will be 5km, 10km, 21km (half marathon) and 42km (full marathon) routes, all of which have been certified by the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS). If you were among the more than 1,000 people who took part in the race last year, the routes are the same (and can be seen on the map below), the only difference is the addition of the full marathon route – which will be the half marathon route ran twice.
Not only is this a fun event, but all funds raised are destined to the Hogar del Niño charity, the Dominican Republic’s most complete education and daycare centre that looks after more than 1,500 children on a daily basis. Click here to see all the photos and to read all about last year’s event.
So save the date… and start training!
