Today Tuesday March 24th you are cordially invited to join us for the grand opening of the 11th annual Casa de Campo Copa Semana Santa!
The tournament will open at 2:30pm with Marat Legal Lopera vs. La Carbuccia, followed by La Garcia vs. Lechuza CTE at 4:30pm.
Over the last 11 years, the Casa de Campo Copa Semana Santa polo tournament has become Casa de Campo’s most prestigious polo tournament, uniting the Dominican Republic’s finest polo players – and this is your first chance to embrace the thrill of the chase.
There will be a short ceremony to open the tournament led by Director of Polo, Calixto García-Vélez, following which the most exciting polo tournament in the Dominican Republic will commence with the opening game between with Marat Legal Lopera vs. La Carbuccia.
Come “tailgate” with us!
Tailgating at a polo match is something entirely more elegant, sophisticated and fashionable than you might expect… think picnic, plus champagne and polo.
… And YOU are cordially invited to join us for a spot of elegant tailgating. Bring a picnic, a bottle or 2 of champagne, relax and enjoy!
Additional games and tailgating parties are scheduled for Thursday and Saturday of this week, as well as Tuesday and Thursday of Semana Santa (next week!), while the finals and grand celebration will be on Saturday April 4th!
