The schedule of the Spring Festival 2013 is as follows: The Dominican Arts and Crafts Fair will be open on Thursday the 23rd of May from 3pm to 7pm and Friday, Saturday and Sunday the 24th, 25th and 26th of May from 10am to 7pm. Thursday May 23rd, 2013 “Asalto Pirata” by the Dominican Street Theater When: 4:30pm Where: Main plaza, Altos de Chavón Interactive Workshop: Dominican Folkloric Dances by Xiomarita Pérez When: 5pm – 7:30pm Where: The Altos de Chavón Regional Museum of Archeology, Altos de Chavón Opening cocktail for the Abraham Lincoln School Art Exhibit When: 7pm – 9pm Where: The Gallery, Altos de Chavón String and Poetry Concert with the Quinteto Mirabal and poetry read by Sandra Mustelier When: 8:30pm Where: The “Fish Fountain”, outside the Altos de Chavón amphitheater Friday May 24th, 2013 Concert with the National Symphonic Orchestra conducted by Maestro José Antonio Molina When: 8pm Where: The Altos de Chavón amphitheater Saturday May 25th, 2013 Ballet Gala with the National School of Dance (ENDANZA) When: 8pm Where: The Altos de Chavón amphitheater Sunday May 26th, 2013 Concert with the Dominican Wind Orchestra When: 7:30pm Where: Main plaza, Altos de Chavón *** ALL activities and performances are completely free of charge.
