Once again, the prestigious Casa de Campo Hotel, known to be a member of The Leading Hotels of the World, certifies its Food and Beverage Department on the ServSafe Program, designed to instruct them on the most demanding and important standards of sanitation, hygiene and health protocol.
13 chefs from the Casa de Campo hotel, the La Romana Country Club and the Club de La Costa (located in Central Romana in La Romana) took part in the ServSafe Program, an internationally recognized standard, which has been running worldwide for 5 years and training Casa de Campo personell since 2008. In these programs, the personelle were taught how to maintain levels of excellence and sanitation when serving food and beverages.
As a commitment assumed by the Central Romana Corporation, a company which has taken advantage of the opportunities and challenges that the economy and society has experienced, this program ensures the learning and practice of the most demanding and important standards of sanitation, hygiene and health protocol on the handling of food for guest as well as employees’ safety.
This program is also a way of keeping Casa de Campo’s quality and levels of excellence as a member of The Leading Hotels of the World, an organization founded in 1928, which assesses hotels with a thorough, rigorous and anonymous inspection, so that only hotels that reach their very exacting levels of quality and excellence may become members. Today, The Leading Hotels of the World represents more than 450 of the world’s finest hotels, resorts and spas, located in over 80 countries around the world. As one of the largest international luxury hotel brands, the firm maintains sales and marketing offices in 24 markets across the globe.
The Servsafe certificates were awarded during a small ceremony, led by Eladio Uribe, Corporate Director of the Human Resources Department of Central Romana, Daniel Hernández, General Manager of the Casa de Campo Hotel and Rosario Vélez, Casa de Campo Human Resources’ General Manager.
