Nearing Casa’s fortieth anniversary (this August), let’s take a look back at all the awards this lovely resort has been blessed with! Now, we really do love Casa de Campo ’round here, but here’s the thing – look up, no, farther, at the website’s name. Yeah. As you can see, we’re kinda biased – but you don’t have to take our word for it, in this article we’ll be having a look at all the awards our beloved resort has received in the last year alone!
First of all, Casa has had the privilege (albeit a clearly earned one) of being included in PGA’s list of the 25 Great Golf Resorts of the World. For those of us not fluent in golf-ese, PGA is the Professional Golfer’s Association, most famous for the PGA Tour, so this is an amazing privilege to receive.
Three of Casa de Campo’s golf courses were included in GolfWeek’s Best Courses of the Caribbean and Mexico, these being the Teeth of the Dog, which stood at #4, the Dye Fore being at #22, and the La Romana Country Club course ranked at #33.
Cigar Aficionado named Casa the very best resort on their list of the Best Resorts in the U.S. and the Caribbean, that’s right, number one!
Travel + Leisure placed Casa de Campo in third place on their list of “Winners for Family Travel” in 2013, another marvelous accolade to have received.
Pressing on, Meet & Conventions gave Casa their Gold Key Award, as well as their Gold Tee Award, not to mention also being honored by Travel Weekly as being the “Best Golf Resort/Hotel” in their 2013 Magellan Awards, and by Successful Meetings upon winning their Pinnacle Award, oh and also by winning French magazine Voyages de Rêve’s Gold Award as the Best Golf Resort. Not bad eh?!
Casa de Campo was also included in the Huffington Post article, Best Golf Resorts: 21 of North America’s Most Luxurious Greens, as well as being a recipient of Tripadvisor’s Certificate of Excellence.
It’s not all golf and meetings, though – both Oyster.com and USA Today named Casa de Campo the “best beach resort for foodies”, and Destination Weddings placed Casa de Campo on their list of top honeymoon spots!
With all these awards, it’s no wonder why Casa de Campo has been and is such a preferred vacation spot for so many people around the world!
