cartier benefitDon’t forget! This Sunday the 29th of December 2013, the most glamorous and eagerly anticipated charity event of the season – the Cartier Benefit hosted by Emilia and J.Pepe Fanjul will be celebrated at their Casa de Campo estate, Casa Grande with profits from tickets and the auction destined to the Fundacion MIR and Hogar del Niño charities.

The Cartier Benefit, the only yearly event which raises money to benefit both the Fundación MIR and the Hogar del Niño charities, which last year celebrated it’s 20th anniversary has over the years raised more than US$1million dollars for each cause – who both provide educational services to the children of the La Romana area.

With more than 300 elegant attendees last year’s gathering raised a total of more than US$125,000, a sum split evenly between the two causes, charities who both strive to provide care and an excellent education for children of the greater La Romana area.

Preparations are already underway to make this year’s celebration even more successful than the last, so save the date and get your tickets now!

The Cartier Cocktail

The Cartier cocktail, hosted by Mrs. Pepe Fanjul and Cartier begins at 6:30pm and ends at 9pm, during which time guests will enjoy a champagne cocktail, whilst taking part in a silent and live auction, as well as shopping at the Cartier Exhibition. Arguably the most thrilling part of the evening and the most beneficial for the charities is the live auction, which in this past has featured Pepe Fanjul himself as the auctioneer.

We will be publishing the list of auction items soon!
