We received a press release from Ana Pereyra, Productions and Shows Manager from Casa de Campo with the exciting details for the upcoming Carlos Santana, Live Your Light Tour in the Altos de Chavon Amphitheater on March 7th. We have included the original release in spanish as well as a translation courtesy of the Casa de Campo Living Team.
We are excited to inform you that this March 7th we will be hosting CARLOS SANTANA, with his tour LIVE YOUR LIGHT 2009. This will be an Evenpro Dominicana production. This concert will be historical for the Amphitheater since the first time Santana was here it was August 22 1982 as part of the inaugural concert series for the Amphitheater. This presentation actually had to be canceled due to the rain, reason why his fans have been eagerly awaiting a new opportunity to see Santana again.
Carlos Santana is a living legend and a member of the Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame, an artistic patriarch of the world with sales surpassing 100 million records, winner of 10 Grammy Awards, 3 Latin Grammy Awards and was named “Person of the Year” by the Latin Recording Academy. His career has spanned 4 decades and is considered one of the best guitarists of all time.

Tenemos el placer de informarles que el proximo 7 de marzo tendremos el concierto del artista CARLOS SANTANA, con su gira LIVE YOUR LIGHT 2009, en una producción de Evenpro Dominicana. Este concierto es historico para el anfiteatro ya que la primera vez que este artista se presento en este escenario fue el 22 de agosto del 1982 con parte de los conciertos de inauguracion del Anfiteatro; la presentación de Santana ese dia tuvo que ser suspendida por la lluvia, por lo que sus fans han esperado ansiosos esta nueva oportunidad de ver a Santana en el Anfiteatro.
Carlos Santana es una leyenda viviente de la musica, es miembro del Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, patrimonio artistico del mundo con ventas que sobrepasan los 100 millones de discos, ganador de 10 premios Grammy, 3 Latin Grammy y fue nombrado en el 2004 “Persona del año” por el Latin Recording Academy. Con una carrera de mas de 4 decadas es considerado uno de los mejores guitarristas de todos los tiempos.
