On Monday December 22nd, the Casa de Campo community celebrated the arrival of CARIBEMOTION, a coffee table book which showcases and celebrates the very best of Dominican architecture and interior design.
CARIBEMOTION, created by Casa de Campo villa owners Mauro Torriani and Gian Carlo Ricco with photography by Massimo Listri features 40 of the Dominican Republic’s most spectacular residences and boutique hotels, “offering the reader an intimate ‘promenade’ through these extraordinary ambiances, which until now had remained anonymous to many who have not had the privilege of visiting these beautiful homes,” Jackie Arvelo told Casa de Campo Living.
“The skill of Massimo Listri in photography and Mauro Torriani and Gian Carlo Ricco as editors is easily appreciated on the first pages of CARIBEMOTION; 40 different covers, one for each residence, is just an example of the care and attention to detail of their work, “ added Jackie.
As integral members of the Casa de Campo community, as well as owners of Nuovo Rinascimiento in the Marina Casa de Campo, this cocktail party celebrated at the Casa de Campo Yacht Club in the Marina Casa de Campo served as the perfect opportunity for Mauro Torriani and Gian Carlo Ricco to introduce CARIBEMOTION to their Casa de Campo friends.
In attendance at the gathering were a number of Casa de Campo villa owners whose homes can be found within the 600-page volume, as well as some of the architects and interior designers, creators of a new language of “tropical elegance”, whose work shines within the pages of CARIBEMOTION.
