Great news for pork lovers! Casa de Campo has just announced yet another holiday treat – a “caja china” roasted pork at the 19th Hole bar.
While special menus for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, as well as New Year’s Eve, were planned long ago (click here for details), the Casa de Campo resort has just announced another special gastronomic event – a “caja china” roasted pork for Saturday the 28th of December.
A “caja china” or in English, Chinese box, is another delicious way to cook pig, when the entire pig is cooked inside the wooden box – resulting in deliciously crispy skin and succulently juicy meat.
This roasted pork special will be served with yuca (a tropical root vegetable) and onions from 2pm to 7pm on Saturday December 28th.
