This month’s Cafe de La Leche was held at the Casa de Campo villa of Yrene Caslini and as the photos show was a very well-attended and popular event which brought together a mixture of ladies from many different countries, all living in Casa de Campo or La Romana. This month’s Cafe de La Leche was for everyone who attended, a very pleasant way to spend the afternoon with friends and meeting new friends over a bite to eat and a refreshing drink.
The Cafe de La Leche is a monthly charity event, held for the Hogar del Niño, children’s day care centre and school, where ladies from Casa de Campo and La Romana get together over a cup of tea, wine, occasionally champagne, and a few nibbles. Each lady brings a donation of dried milk, cereals or baby formula, which is then used to feed the over 200 babies cared for in the Hogar del Niño everyday.
As I was unfortunatly absent from this month’s Cafe de La Leche event, the following photos were contributed by Erika Vilain. Thanks Erika!
