The Cafe de La Leche is a wonderful charity event that unites Casa de Campo’s glamorous ladies for an early evening drink and a gossip. This month we celebrated the event at the Casa de Campo home of Sarah Troncoso, hosted by herself, Amelia Pereya and Malele Strofer with their events planning business: ‘Eventos x3.’
It was a gloriously sunny afternoon and so to begin the gathering, we ladies took our seats on the beautiful wooden terrace in Sarah’s garden, where we were able to enjoy a cooling Caribbean breeze and even more refreshing – a delicious white wine sangria, which went down all to nicely!
Every Cafe de la Leche gathering is always very unique, despite the concept being the same, it is always fun to notice and enjoy the differences between each one – one of the reasons I never like to miss it! But regardless of the differences they all have one thing in common; great company, cool drinks and delicious food!
Sarah, Amelia and Malele the events-planning masterminds had done a beautiful job; the villa looked gorgeous, that sangria was divine and the food was so yummy it all but disappeared as soon as it had been laid out! Sadly I had to rush out to get to the polo fields, so I was only able to try a few bites, but what I did have (corn crisps with pico de gallo) were so good I was tempted to put some in my purse!
‘Eventos x3’ organise parties, weddings, dinners and special events – and they do a GREAT job! The last event we attended that they were in charge of, was the after-party/dinner of the private screening of Sergio Gobbi’s ‘Affaires Étrangeres’ and we were stunned to see how they had transformed the Casa de Campo Yacht Club.

Well done ladies we had a great time!
Here are my photos of this event:
(Amelia one of the hostesses was also busy taking photos, so as soon as I receive those from here, I will publish those too!)
