With the start of a New Year comes new hopes, dreams and resolutions. And year after year, the Café de la Leche of Annie Paniagua is the event which opens the philanthropic calendar of Casa de Campo activities. With a magnificent view, delicious cocktails and snacks, it sets the gold standard for what is to come. This year was of course no exception. Casa de Campo ladies of all nationalities, ages and walks of life came together to share a “coffee with milk” or rather a glass of sangria, with friends old and new and show solidarity for the future of the Dominican Republic – that is the children of the Hogar del Niño. The monthly Café de la Leche get-togethers gather milk supplies to the Hogar del Niño’s crib room where more than 200 babies have their ever need tended to everyday of the year. And while the Café de la Leche is of course very important, this Café de la Leche can be seen as a kind of warm-up to the “next big event” – that being the celebration of the Hogar del Niño weekend on the 13th and 14th of February. With the homes and gardens tour, mountain biking, tennis, golf, zumba and more, as well as of course a dinner-dance-party, it’s a weekend worthy of saving the date! So go ahead and add the 13th and 14th of February to your diaries! On that note let’s take a look at the photos taken at the Café de la Leche of Annie Paniagua, brought to you by our photographer, Alejandro Heredia:
