Baskin Robbins pairs ice cream with beer for the ultimate afternoon treat

This post is also available in: Spanish

Baskin Robbins introduces a new way to enjoy their 31 flavors. Not much is as fine as a delicious serving of ice cream or an ice-cold beer on a hot sunny day, but put the two together and you’ve got yourself a doubly good way to enjoy the afternoon! Traditionally thought of as separate treats— ice cream for the kids and beer for the adults— the combo has actually been around since the discovery of the root beer float back in Colorado in 1893. Nowadays, artisan ice-cream makers far and wide experiment with the best flavor combinations and are making it a summer staple.

Since beer tends to bring a touch of dryness to the dessert, it highlights many of Baskin Robbins ingredients to create the perfect, delectable balance. See their list of pairings below and find more in Casa de Campo Living magazine’s “Foodie Issue!”
