We know you’ve read the coverage from the 7th Induction Ceremony into the Latino Baseball Hall of Fame (LBHOF) which happened Saturday night, but here’s everything you need to know about the series of events within the 7th Exaltation Week, check it out…
The schedule of activities for the baseball legends inducted to the LBHOF (Sammy Sosa, Omar Vizquel, Edgar Renteria, Jesse Orosco, Orlando Hernandez and Ivan Rodriguez) started on Friday December 4th with a parade down the street of Padre Abreu, one of the main streets in La Romana, to the Francisco A. Micheli stadium, where the baseball players of the Class of 2015 were to be immortalized, along with the introduction of a permanent photo-exhibition within the stadium.

Later that day, our baseball heroes were welcomed at the beautiful Casa Grande, the Fanjul’s Real Estate in Casa de Campo, where they mingled among family and friends and celebrated the day, enjoying a delicious dinner hosted by the Honorary Chairman of the Latino Baseball Hall of Fame, Mr. Alfy Fanjul.

The following morning, Saturday, December 5th, the day began with the highly anticipated INMORTALES Golf Tournament (especially by Ivan Rodriguez who is a big golf enthusiast), played in the Casa de Campo’s most renowned golf course, the Teeth of the Dog. This tournament was played in the Scramble In Pairs format, with the winning team being made up of Juan Antonio Sosa, Luis Escolástico and Alberto Gonzalez.
