Last Friday the 5th of October 2012, Casa de Campo’s Cacique Conference Center was chosen to celebrate the press conference for La Romana’s baseball team “Los Toros del Este”. The Toros del Este’s participation will be dedicated this year to Lugo , who has been the commercial voice for the team in both radio and TV for the past 20 years. The team, made up of bothe new and old players, has, according to Frank Micheli, has worked hard and experienced many changes in these last 9 months with the aim of “returning the crown to fans of the orange team.”
The event, decorated with their vibrant orange color at the Cacique Conference Center in Casa de Campo, included the presentation of their official calendar of games (see below), as well as this year’s “madrina de los Toros“, Nicole Aimeé Báez; Félix Francisco as their manager and Eddie Díaz as director – a great chemistry that everybody will be able to see on the field with the integration and discipline of the many players.
