Last Friday the 9th of August 2013, the Casa de Campo Yacht Club at the Marina Casa de Campo hosted a wonderful dinner for all of it’s members.
The Casa de Campo Yacht Club, which since 2001 has upheld it’s reputation for being a casual yet elegant place for it’s members to relax and enjoy dinner or drinks in a nautical setting, opened it’s doors and welcomed more than 70 members from around the globe for a wonderful evening of good times – with cocktails, dinner and of course, dancing!
“The aim of the gathering was to create a ambiance that the members could enjoy, while also getting to know other new members of the club, as well as catch up with old friends,” commented Jose Gonzalvo, General Director of the Marina Casa de Campo.
Joining club members, amongst them many friendly and fun Italian villa owners, was Gianfranco Fini, Commodore of the Casa de Campo Yacht Club and architect of the Marina Casa de Campo, Jose Gonzalvo, General Director of the Marina Casa de Campo and Piero Giacosa, as well as Vilma Nuñez, Marketing Manager for the Marina Casa de Campo, who did a fabulous job keeping everyone happy and making sure the evening was a great success.
The occasion started with cocktails around the bar in the lounge area, the perfect opportunity for everyone to meet and greet everyone else, following which everyone took their seats for dinner in the Yacht Club’s newly created air conditioned events area, which had been beautifully set-up with dinner tables adorned with colorful posies of flowers.
The delicious buffet-dinner was catered by Casa de Campo, and once everyone had enjoyed their fill, the dance floor soon filled up and everyone danced the night away!
