The Arturo Fuente Cigar Club hosted its fourth annual invitational golf tournament at the Teeth of the Dog course in Casa de Campo, raising funds to support the education and care of 460 children through the Humo de Amor Foundation in the Monseñor Nouel province.

This exclusive tournament, now a growing tradition in the Dominican Republic, brought together 128 invited golfers. Participants enjoyed a day filled with camaraderie and scenic views, with Arturo Fuente cigars adding to the experience.

Ciro Cascella, CEO of Fuente Cigars, John Paul Garrido, LATAM commercial director of Fuente Cigars, and Sergio Mourelle, director of the Humo de Amor Foundation, led the event. The chairman of Fuente Cigars, Carlito Fuente, a world-renowned tobacco magnate, was also present.

The tournament concluded with a lunch featuring Arturo Fuente cigars and fine wines and spirits and an award ceremony, where George Riley and Edgar Alma took home the Gross title with a score of 57. Winners in categories A and B were also recognized.

Cascella highlighted the event’s impact, noting its support for the Humo de Amor Foundation’s mission to provide education, medical care, and nutrition to vulnerable children and adolescents in Bonao. Currently, 460 children benefit from the foundation’s work, with 12 students set to graduate in computer networking and 17 in nursing this year.

The tournament was supported by sponsors including Lexus, Senasa, Brugal, Mercedes Benz, and many others. As per the official statement, the Arturo Fuente Cigar Club plans to continue this annual event, maintaining its exclusive and charitable focus.
