Arturo Fuente Cigar Club has cemented a tradition of philanthropy with its third annual invitational golf tournament, aimed at raising funds for the Humo de Amor Foundation, which supports the education of approximately 500 underprivileged children. This charitable endeavor witnessed the participation of 120 players in a convivial event hosted at the country’s premier golf course, Teeth of the Dog, at Casa de Campo Resort & Villas. Each hole was marked by unique brand experiences, with notable international tobacco industry names in attendance.
Playing host to this event were Ciro Cascella, CEO of Arturo Fuente Cigar Club, and John Paul Garrido, Director of Commercial Operations for LATAM at Arturo Fuente Cigars. Both expressed gratitude for the support received during the event, emphasizing its mission of transforming lives through education.

“We are profoundly grateful for the warm reception and the willingness of every participant in this tournament, which serves a significant social purpose. We understand that this contribution will yield dividends in the future, offering opportunities and transformation in the lives of over 500 Dominican families,” stated Ciro Cascella.
The tournament concluded with an award ceremony honoring the top-performing players, followed by a luncheon featuring the highest quality cigars, top-shelf spirits, and an impeccably curated gastronomic pairing.

The Humo de Amor Foundation, established in 2002 and operated by the Cigar Family Charitable Foundation, is situated in Bonao, Monseñor Nouel Province. Its mission is to provide children and adolescents with access to education, healthcare, and nutrition. Since 2020, the foundation has operated a polytechnic and health education center, enabling students to develop their talents and cognitive skills, thus preparing them to become competent young professionals ready to enter the job market. Four hundred ten scholars are enrolled this year, and 33 students from the 2022-2023 cohort will graduate.
The third edition of this event saw participation from renowned brands such as Lexus, the Ministry of Tourism, Boveda, Volvo, Alfa Romeo, Gamma, United Capital, Equifax, Banreservas, Autozama, Mercasid, Casa de Campo, Grupo Estrella, Seguros Crecer, SENASA, ARS Reservas, El Catador, Evergo, Trattoria Pizzarelli, Haagen Dazs, The OX Society by M.
