Arturo Fuente Cigar Club offered for the second consecutive year, one of the most exclusive experiences for golf lovers in the country, whose main purpose is to benefit the education of more than 460 children from the Humo de Amor Foundation located in the municipality. of Bonao, Monsignor Nouel province.
This invitational tournament brought together some 120 guests at the largest golf course in the country: Teeth of the Dog® at Casa de Campo Resort® & Villas; where in addition to sharing cigars only available for the event, they had a healthy competition.
The event was led by Ciro Cascella, CEO of Fuente Cigar, John Paul Garrido, LATAM Commercial Director of Fuente Cigars, Sergio Mourelle, Director of the Humo de Amor Foundation, and the honorable presence of Carlito Fuente, world-renowned tobacco tycoon, President of the Cigar Source Board.
The tournament culminated with an award ceremony for the best players and a lunch in which the highest quality cigars, high-end distillates, and an ideal gastronomic pairing were enjoyed.
In the words of Cascella, the social contribution that thanks to the activity would be made to the Humo de Amor Foundation was highlighted, whose mission is to provide opportunities to vulnerable children and adolescents in the municipality of Bonao so that they have access to education, medical care, and nutrition.
Since 2020, the foundation operates as a health and polytechnic educational center where it allows its students to develop their talents and cognitive abilities to become competent young professionals ready to be inserted in the labor market. This year, 12 students with a specialty in Computer Networking and 17 nursing technicians are graduating.
