This weekend, Wisin y Yandel are coming to Altos de Chavón to put on their first show together in five years! The last time Wisin y Yandel put on an official concert together was in 2013, and since then they have made guest appearances at each other’s shows, surprising fans and exciting crowds around the world! The iconic duo will have Dj Miguel Duarte, a Santo Domingo native, opening and we anticipate lots of throwbacks and concert goers dancing the night away!

The last time the duo was together, they had 22 tracks on the Top 10 Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs Chart, including 10 number one hits. When they made the decision to go their separate ways, they told fans that they weren’t splitting up, they were simply taking some time to record on their own. Wisin, whose real name is Juan Luis Morera Luna, released four albums. His last album made number two on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart.

Yandel, whose real name is Llandel Veguilla Malavé, went on to release three albums. Two of them hitting number one on Top Latin albums. It’s evident that both of them are as successful individually as they are together. Both artists produced multiple hit singles that topped the charts over the last five years! The two have enjoyed the solo stage, but this concert, and 2018 tour, shows the love they have for each other. They are coming back together, after five years of separate success, and fans couldn’t be more excited!

So, who is the opener? DJ Miguel Duarte is a Santo Domingo DJ who has been drawn to music his whole life. Starting at a young age, he learned to play guitar and drums and entering his teenage years he began to fall in love with electronic music. Miguel began releasing bootlegs, mashups, edits and original mixes and now plays a wide variety of events for young adults. Apart from DJing, he is also a producer. His greatest influences are Steve Angello, Hardwell, and Afrojack. We are certain that he will get the crowd hyped up and ready to go for los líderes!

This weekend, Wisin y Yandel have chosen Casa de Campo to be the starting place of their 2018 tour. They will be kicking off their epic return here, and it is sure to be a dance party filled with old jams and new ones!  It will be a night that will go down in history!
