In just a few days time, the resort will host its annual International Pro-Am. This golf tournament marks one of the first tournaments of the year, having recently wrapped up the International Club Tournament yesterday, and will begin this coming Tuesday, January 9th and play through Sunday the 14th on the Teeth of the Dog, the Dye Fore, and the Links.

Forty-four years since the first tournament of its kind, the International Pro-Am is a classic in the resort and this year is offering a special gift to ladies. Ladies golf is complimentary and they’ll also receive one free massage as a part of their package! Ladies may participate in a variety of daily events and pairings will be set according to the number in attendance.

Men will be divided into flights according to the total team handicap and play from the tees according to the Team Formats below. Tuesday marks the official tournament registration and will feature a Welcome Party. Wednesday starts Round #1 on the Teeth of the Dog at the bright hour of 7:30a.m. in One Best Ball Format. Thursday’s Round #2 is on the Links also in One Best Ball format, and Friday will be in Two Best Ball format on the Dye Fore. Saturday is the Final Round on the Teeth of the Dog also in Two Best Ball format and will follow with an Awards Banquet.  Packages include food and accommodations, a golf cart, unlimited green fees, unlimited drinks at the hotel bars and restaurants, and more! Tees – Team Formats:

Male Amateurs: If the amateurs age+ handicap from the white tees on the Teeth of the Dog equals 80 or over, he will play from the green tees. If the players age and handicap equals 70 – 79, he will play from the white tees. If the players age and handicap equals 69 and below the player will play from the blue tees.

Male Professionals: All male professionals 50 years old and older will play the from the blue tees. All male professionals 49 years old and younger will play from the gold tees

Female Amateurs: All ladies will play from the red tees

Female Professionals: All lady professionals 50 years and older will play from the red tees. All lady professionals 49 years and younger will play from the white tees
