The Altos de Chavón Art Gallery presents the next art exhibit “El Viaje, recorridos de la memoria” by Angela Occhipinti from the 19th of December, 2014 to the 20th of January.
The inauguration cocktail will take place on Thursday the 19th of December, and you are cordially invite to join the celebration, which will satrt at 7:30pm.
The interesting exhibit will have a total of 30 pieces and everyone will have the chance to view and admire the work of this fine artist that we are more than happy to receive at Altos de Chavón.
You can expect a great variety of her pieces at this exhibit, how she reflects the infinite and complex possibilities that you can obtain with Engraving Art and wood. Using techniques based on lithography and wood-block printing.

About the artist – Angela Occhipinti
Italian artist Angela Occhipinti studied Arts in the Illustration Academy of Florence were she obtained a degree in Graphic and Engraving Art with Pietro Parigi and Giuseppe Viviani.
She has been successful in the production and publication of books. She has presented more than 92 personal pieces in private and public galleries in museums in Italy and around the world. During her carrier she has won numerous awards and received a “Caballero” title by the “Gran Oficial and Conmedador de La República”.
