Wonderful news for the Dominican Republic’s jet set community and Casa de Campo villa owners from  Puerto Rico – American Eagle Airlines is now flying twice a week between the La Romana – Casa de Campo airport and the Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in San Juan!

On Friday the 18th of November, the first American Airlines flight between San Juan and La Romana was inaugurated! This flight will now be flying twice weekly from La Romana – Casa de Campo to San Juan.

“La Romana, the official airport for Casa de Campo and the hotels in the Bayahibe region, is a popular destination for travelers coming from and through San Juan,” said Peter Dolara, American’s Senior Vice President for Mexico, the Caribbean and Latin America. “We are pleased to reinstate our service between San Juan and La Romana and offer our customers more options to visit this Caribbean paradise.”

The new service will be operated with the 64-seat ATR-72 aircraft on the following schedule:

Couple this new flight with the daily American Airlines flight between La Romana – Casa de Campo and Miami as well as the twice weekly flight with Jet Blue between La Romana – Casa de Campo and New York and it is now easier than ever for Casa de Campo villa owners and visitors to the Casa de Campo resort to get here and enjoy paradise!

Together, American Airlines and American Eagle offer services to 35 destinations throughout the Caribbean, more than any other U.S. airline.
