It’s almost time for us to admire the result of the hard work of the students of the Altos de Chavón School of Design at what they do best… Designing!
The annual fashion show “Estilo 2015” organized by the Fashion Design seniors of the Altos de Chavon School of Design will be this Friday, May 22nd, at the new Davidoff Art Studios in Altos de Chavón, and this year the entrance to the show is completely free!
According to Dean of Studies, Stephen Kaplan, the theme of the senior-thesis was “Russian De-Constructivist style, and De Stijl design”, and the result, which we will see at the Estilo 2015 fashion show, is “an inspired palette of red, black, gray, and white. The garments’ asymmetry and articulation of layers, appendages, and irregular silhouettes make for a visual tour de force.” Intrigued!? So are we – so we’ll see you there!
Also taking place as part of the 31st graduation of the Altos de Chavón School of Design, is the Senior Art Show, which is already open at The Gallery in Altos de Chavón and you are cordially invited to take a look before it closes this Sunday May 24th.
