The “End of Year” art show being presented by the Altos de Chavón School of Design graduating class of 2014 is now open for you to enjoy. However, the show will only be open until this Sunday May 18th, so go see it now before it’s too late!
First of all… WOW! This year’s show is outstanding. Certainly the best we have seen in recent years from the Altos de Chavón School of Design. From floor to ceiling The Gallery in Altos de Chavón is bursting with the talent and potential of the young students. This is a MUST SEE show… so off you go NOW – it’s only open until this Sunday May 18th!
On display at the “End of Year” art exhibit you will find not only an incredible display of art work (paintings and sculptures), but also fashion as well as design – a fact which always surprises visitors, who often do not release that the school offers courses in Fine Arts/Illustration, but also Fashion Design and Graphic Design, all 2 year two-year programs leading to the degree of Associate in Applied Science.
The excellent quality and variety exhibited is a testament to the outstanding talent of the students, but also to the exceptional teaching and quality of education provided at the Altos de Chavón School of Art and Design.
Once the exhibit closes this Sunday May 18th, it will be re-opened in Santo Domingo at the Casa de Chavón, where it will remain all summer.

This weekend marks the 30th graduation of the Altos de Chavón School of Design, an occasion which will be celebrated with the ESTILO 2014 fashion show presented by the fashion graduate students, the graduation ceremony, as well as a celebratory cocktail at The Gallery in Altos de Chavón, where the students will be proudly showing off their works to family and friends.
Casa de Campo villa owners, residents and visitors are all cordially invited to take part in the 30th graduation celebration – at the ESTILO 2014 fashion show and by visiting the “End of Year” art exhibit, see below for full details.
