Following the official opening of the holiday season this Friday December 13th on Altos de Chavón, the schedule of festive activities continues with a performance by the Compañía Nacional Danza Contemporanea, sponsored by the Dominican Ministry of Culture.
The Compañía Nacional Danza Contemporanea or rather the National Company of Contemporary Dance will be in Altos de Chavón on Friday the 19th of December, enriching our social calendar with culture through a performance entitled “Strange Beauty”.
This talented group of young Dominican dancers will perform in the shadow of the majestic St. Stanislaus Church at the heart of Altos de Chavón, in the Plaza Chavón.
The performance will consist of an enchanting variety of dance genres including classical ballet, modern dance and Dominican folk dances such as Merengue, as well as dances from other cultures such as Gagá and Guloya.
This show is complimentary and all Casa de Campo villa owners, residents and guests are very welcome to attend and enjoy!

Other magical holiday activities taking place in Altos de Chavón this season include the grand opening of the season and tree-lighting ceremony – this Saturday December 13th, the Paso a Voz ballet performance at the amphitheater on Saturday December 20th, as well as “Rock on the Rocks” with Toque Profundo on December 27th – and much more!
