Last Friday the 26th of October, Alexandra Creamer, longtime member of Casa de Campo celebrated the inauguration of her new home decor store, Acqua Villa in La Romana – which is next door to Dental Integral on the Avenida Altagracia.
Joined by her mother, Yolanda and father, Don Creamer, Alexandra welcomed her numerous guests from the Casa de Campo and La Romana communities to her new store, Acqua Villa, which brimmed with beautiful home decor items; cotton and linen napkins and feather down decor cushions, as well as lamps, small and large coffee table accents, mirrors big and small, vases, rugs, chandeliers and wall decorations.
The store was officially inaugurated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and speeches, following which a toast of champagne and picaderas were served, whilst guests continued to shop and peruse the items for sale.

@cdcliving: How did the opening go?Alexandra Creamer: It went great! I’m very happy with the outcome. I had a lot of support from family members, friends and people that I had the chance to meet at the opening party. I couldn’t ask for more; but I’m very happy that it’s open and ready to go.
@cdcliving: What inspired you to open this new store?Alexandra Creamer: I love art and to me the home is just an empty canvas that we need to paint on. I think every piece of the home should be an extension of who we are and what we love. I truly believe that what we place in our home is art itself. I had the chance to study design in Florence, Italy and explore that country as well as others surrounding it and feel that it solidified my love and appreciation for art and design. I also worked for many years with different companies where fashion/art/design were the most especial to the company’s growth which help me learn the business side of these three and also allowed me to learn to a great extend.
@cdcliving: How would you describe Acqua Villa?Alexandra Creamer: I would describe it as Eclectic. It offers a little bit of everything with different components that fit different tastes and decor of different homes. Although I refer to it as eclectic, we do concentrate on down (feathers) decor cushions, big and small home accessories and Lines for the bedroom. We carry this very luxurious linen fabric organic bed sheets that I love and believe everyone should have a set in their homes.

It took a lot of patience to understand my vision, I wanted it to be great and didn’t want to settle for what is expected. The store focuses on Home Lines made in natural organic linen fabric, such as cotton and linen napkins and feather down decor cushions, as well as lamps, small and large coffee table accents, mirrors big and small, vases, rugs, chandeliers and wall decorations.
The store also offers a small variety of baby organic clothing and children’s clothing as well as fashion accessories such as beach cover-ups, cotton scarves/pareos and colorful beach bracelets – among others things.
