A fitting end to the “Semana de Francia” the first direct Air Caraibes flight jetted off from Santo Domingo on Sunday evening the 25th of March, taking with it 297 passengers, many of whom who had just enjoyed a fantastic 4 days in Casa de Campo celebrating all things French!

This new direct flight from Santo Domingo to Paris-Orly departs every Sunday evening at 9:30pm and arrives less than 9 hours later into Paris-Orly, at 12:30pm the next day. And with prices starting from as little as 655 Euros including taxes (about US$900), this is a great option for those planning travel to France or Europe!  In addition, Air Caraibes offers a number of other flights between Santo Domingo and Paris-Orly.

A flight between La Romana-Casa de Campo and Paris?
Always keen to receive visitors from all over the world, Claudio Silvestri, President and CEO of Premier Resorts and Hotels, the management company for Casa de Campo, has already spoken to the executives of Air Caraibes, who were in Casa de Campo for the Semana de Francia, about a flight from La Romana-Casa de Campo and although the answer was not “yes” yet, it is certainly being considered as a possibility.

A lively presence at the Semana de Francia activities, Gustavo De Hostos, who represents Air Caraibes in the Dominican Republic said:

“At this time we are offering the best option on price and quality, from Santo Domingo to Paris and it is also to keep in mind that the Paris-Orly airport is much closer to the center of Paris than Charles de Gualle airport, so we are definitely a good choice.”
