Christoph Sieger, resident partner of Guzman Ariza Law Firm in Punta Cana has recently been named regional president of the AHK Central America/Caribbean chamber on an event held in Panamá.
Hailing from Germany, Sieger obtained his degree in Dominican Law at UAPA University in Santiago Dominican Republic and practices International Tax Law and Real Estate Law. Guzmán Ariza is the first and only national law firm in the Dominican Republic and was founded in 1927. Joining the AHK, whose abbreviation stands for “Auslandshandelskammer” and means Foreign Chamber of Commerce, Sieger will promote trade and economic relations between Germany and the seven chambers of the region: Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica and Panamá.
These seven autonomous and binational chambers include more than 600 member companies. The AHK Central America/Caribbean supports these seven chambers and develops regional initiatives for Germans to perceive Central America and the Caribbean as an economic and investment region.
