Having been on break for almost two months the children of Casa de Campo are bursting with energy and in need of some excitement… which is exactly why you should sign them up for a day of adventure and fun at Wild Ranch, being organized by the Golf & Tennis Academy. The excursion will take place this Sunday the 4th of August, at Wild Ranch, located in the 13o-year-old village “El Gato” between La Romana and Bayahibe, which boasts quiet an impressive Dominican heritage and plenty of wildlife… as well as endless fun and games too!
The children will depart on a bus from Hotel Casa de Campo at 8:30am to enjoy a day full of adrenaline, exhilaration and the excitement at Wild Ranch Canopy – letting the explorers in them run free!
After a 30-minute drive they will be welcomed with fruit and refreshments to provide the energy they will need for the adventure, they will be given the safety rules and instructions (for safety is always first) and soon after that they will be off whizzing through the canopies and racing each other in kayaks down Chavón river!
They will be divided into groups and rotate through the activities such as the zip-line, kayaking, an ecological tour of the conservation centre and a series of competitions both in and out of the water. Once they’re done done and exhausted… lunch will be served and they will head back to Casa de Campo.
Wild Ranch is a conservation centre for the Dominican Republic’s native plants and animals, such as coco and coffee plants, iguanas, birds and snakes – which the explorers will enjoy meeting and learning about on the ecological tour.
We are sure the children will have lots of fun and most importantly of all we are sure there will be no issues putting them to bed that night after their long and exciting day!
