Casa de Campo

We’re all looking at ways in which we can live cleaner and healthier lives, so today we bring you the advantages of salt water pools.

1. It’s better for you (and your pets)

Fewer chemicals in the water reduces any potential harm to you and your pets!

2. Feels different

Electrolysis effect will make you feel the benefits of the naturally softened water that is closer to the pH of your skin and eyes.

3. Crystal clear water without bacteria!

Salt water is a lot more stable and balanced, and creates an environment that is difficult for bacteria and germs to survive which means the water stays crystal clear all the time and without silt!

4. Less expensive

The cost of chemicals is much lower when you use the Salt Clorinator.

5. It is sustainable

Saltwater pool require less manual maintenance and maintenance expense than the traditional chlorine pools.

6. Not as harmful

Most people are less sensitive to saltwater than they are to traditionally chlorinated water. This means less itchy, dried-out skin, and hair, not to mention, you don’t have the smell of chlorine or the burning eyes that also come with a traditional pool. Oh and the color in your swimsuits will not fade as much!

7. The salt will always be there

The salt never leaves your pool by evaporation NOR is it ever used up. The only way that saltwater leaves your pool is through back-washing, leaks, and splash out.

8. No hazardous chemicals

You will never have to store and transport corrosive chlorine or have to deal with the painstaking hassle of adding the appropriate amount of chemicals on a regular basis.

9. It just keeps going

The Salt Clorinator provides a constant delivery of chlorine as compared to a traditional chlorine pool which only delivers chlorine when manually introduced.

10. It’s not that salty!

The salt concentration or salinity of the pool will be approximately 3,4 grams / liter. The ocean is roughly 36 Gr/L and the salinity of a human tear drop is 6 Gr/L. Imagine that! It is less salty than a tear drop!

HOW IT WORKS?

The salt water is circulated through your pool the way it normally would be with any pool, but with the addition of a salt chlorine generator. As salt water travels through the generator, it constantly generates low levels of free chlorine through the electrolysis and keeps your pool free of bacteria and algae.

The free chlorine destroys any harmful bacteria and algae and once it has done its job – it converts back into salt water where the process can be repeated over and over!

There is one disadvantage…

The main disadvantage of saltwater pools is that it reduces the revenue generated by pool chemical sales!
