This magical ‘by-invite-only’ event, hosted on Saturday evening the 28th of January at the Fanjul family’s Casa de Campo estate, Casa Grande, was attended by special friends of the Fundación MIR, VIP guests of the main gala event, designers, Mark Badgley and James Mischka, as well as prize-winning golfers.
The final event of the Fundación MIR Magical Splendor for Life fundraising weekend, the VIP dinner was a much more intimate gathering than the grand gala and fashion show by Badgley Mischka held the night before (Friday January the 27th) on Minitas beach. Guests were given the opportunity to peruse (and shop) at the Badgley Mischka boutique, whilst enjoying the pre-dinner cocktail in the moonlight on the terrace overlooking the ocean.
Hostess, Lian Fanjul greets her VIP guests during the cocktail hour

Following cocktails, dinner and drinks, Coralis the singer from Dos en la Via brought the evening to a pleasant close with some classical merengue and salsa numbers which inspired a number of couples into dancing! It was the perfect end of a fantastic philanthropic weekend of exciting and glamorous events!
