This group of 10 Casa de Campo villa owners from Santo Domingo really got into the spirit of the Venetian Festival, with each member of the group styling a different mask and with the gentleman also sporting some rather bazar hats! Congratulations – you all looked fantastic! The group were awarded a table lamp donated by the Dedon/Villa Collection store.
Best Costume: Agatha Nicole Porcher
Agatha, who lives in Casa de Campo fulltime and who was recently named “Little Miss St John”, dressed in a full length glittering gown with matching mask was, without a doubt, the most beautiful masquerade-mini in the whole of the Marina Casa de Campo! Agatha was a awarded a “Murval” purse contributed by the Rubiluna collection store in the Marina Casa de Campo.
The Best Couple: Adriana and Valentina Jimenez
Although not technically a “couple”, this adorable sibling duo, Valentina and Adriana Jimenez, brought their beautiful masks all the way from Venice especially for the occasion! The girls were awarded a “Murval” purse contributed by the Rubiluna collection store in the Marina Casa de Campo (sorry girls there’s only one so you’ll have to share!)
The most elaborate mask: Fatima Renedo Peral
Casa de campo villa owner and resident, Fatima Renedo Peral can always be relied on to support events with enthusiasm and a smile and this year’s 3rd annual Feria Barlovento was no different! Adorned with peacock feathers and a gold cross which matched her earrings, Fatima’s mask was beautiful! Fatima’s prize was a dinner for 2 at Chinois, Chinese restaurant in the Marina Casa de Campo.
Whilst many Marina Casa de Campo stores and businesses took part in the 3rd annual Feria Barlovento, there was no other store which shone as brightly as the Rubiluna Collection boutique – who enticed shoppers with a “brindis”, as well as numerous special offers and discounts, and who had also decorated the entire store in full Venetian style with gondola, gondolier, masks, feathers and even their staff were wearing creative masquerade costumes!!! Congratulations Rubiluna!
