A ladies champagne evening hosted by ERH Marine

This Friday June 12th, ERH Marine, a yacht sales and service company, who have just set up shop in the Casa de Campo marina, hosted a ladies champagne evening, in their owners lounge. The event, sponsored by Perrier Jouet, was both sophisticated and laid back, with a welcoming, friendly atmosphere in a contemporary, beautiful space, which united the wives, friends and children of yacht owners. Waiters served a never-ending supply of the heavenly Perrier Jouet champagne (which I enjoyed a little too much) while Federico Diaz Macias, a champagne connoisseur gave an informal talk about how Champagne is made. Of course, no evening is complete without a delicious selection of Hors d’œuvres, which were catered by Pitiri; there was crackers, pateand cheeses, bread sticks, and salmon mousse, which as always, I appreciated very much! Eudaldo R. Hernandez founded ERH marine, primarily to sell yachts, but with a vision to provide much more; yes, ERH marine do sell boats, but they also provide an exceptional customer service, which stretches far beyond the purchase of the perfect boat. Instead of a ‘sales office’ ERH Marine have an owners lounge – complete with plasma-screen TV and comfy sofas, the perfect place to relax after a tough day’s sailing!

ERH Marine plan to host a series of events similar to the Champagne evening, to welcome yacht owners, to provide a sense of community, to facilitate the making of new friends and most importantly of all, to have fun! The events are planned to take place on the last Saturday of every month, and will be by invitation only for the clients of ERH marine – and of course their families and friends. The ladies champagne evening was a huge success and a lot of fun, I met so many new, interesting and friendly people – I am definitely looking forward to the next event!
