In the name of art and having a good time, Gael Monnin and Jose Buera hosted a cocktail/party to celebrate the opening of their 6th annual Haitian Art exhibit, which was on display in Casa de Campo from Saturday the 27th of August until Monday the 29th of August.

The art exhibit inauguration cocktail took place on Saturday evening the 27th of August, beginning from 7.30pm, when the event’s guests were taken on a tour of the Haitian art, which was on display in various locations throughout the beautiful ocean front Casa de Campo villa in Punta Minitas.

As well as art appreciation, the Casa de Campo guests enjoyed drinks, music and dancing at the event. Providing the music and entertainment were a traditional and genuine Haitian drum group, who got everyone in the party mood with their frantic dancing and rhythmic drum-banging!

As the evening progressed guests congregated, mingled and danced on the outside terrace, whilst enjoying an endless supply of picaderas and drinks – it was a fantastic party and all in the name of art! Everybody loves a cultural excuse to party!
