Last Tuesday the 2nd of October, 2012, the Cartier boutique in Santo Domingo welcomed the Asociación de Damas Diplomáticas (diplomatic ladies association in the Dominican Republic) for a fundraising cocktail in aid of the “Niñez Dominicana” – children in need all across the country.
The champagne cocktail celebrated at the Cartier Boutique in Blue Mall, Santo Domingo was well attended by the philanthropic ladies of the Damas Diplomáticas association, including Rocio de Castillero, president of the association and wife of the Ambassador for Peru in the Dominican Republic, as well as a number of other VIP guests, who all joined together in support of this cause.
At the center of the celebration was a beautiful Cartier watch, a “Tank solo” – donated by Cartier to be raffled to raise money for the association. Tickets for the raffle, which will take place on November 20th are on sale for RD$1,000 and are available from Cartier Santo Domingo.
“The funds raised through this activity, will be used to buy student equipment and furniture for the “Escuela Esperanza y Vida” School located in the over-populated neighborhood of Los Guaricanos, which is currently being built and will be inaugurated next month.”
