We hope you didn’t miss out on any of the Hogar del Niño’s lively events! On Saturday, February 18th, 2023, the Casa de Campo community gathered at the La Romana Country Club to participate in all the day’s events, which included traditional golf and tennis tournaments, yoga, padel, pickleball, and even a sip-and-paint activity. The 26th edition of this annual Hogar del Niño weekend did not disappoint, as the Patronato Benéfico Oriental organized it for the community to have fun and give back.

The action started bright and early at 8 am, with eager participants limbering up and perfecting their serves. The courts were full of energy as players of all levels played matches of tennis, pickleball and paddle tennis. Casa de Campo’s tennis enthusiasts enjoyed the exciting and friendly competition, with games played by both adults and kids throughout the day.

Following the impressive cardio workout on the courts, it was time for golf lovers to kick off another Hogar del Niño weekend activity: the Golf Tournament! This tournament has become so popular that in previous years, it has featured two tee-off times, one early in the morning and the other in the afternoon, so that the entire community can get involved. Both groups enjoyed a fun round of golf played in a “scrabble” format working together to get the best possible score!

Congratulations to everyone who took part, including all the winners! We hope to see you for the Hogar del Niño Weekend XXVII next year.
