Sir Rod Stewart performed at a packed amphitheater in Altos de Chavón for his first concert in the country! The Rock and Roll legend came to delight fans as part of his tour that has toured several countries, including the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico.

At 8:30 pm, with a recording of bagpipes, Sir Rod Stewart began the long-awaited event with his song “Infatuation,” causing an explosion of energy and joy in the audience.

The British artist, known for his charisma and energy, did not disappoint his fans by including his best-known hits in his repertoire, sung by the audience at the top of their lungs. Produced by SD Concerts and directed by artistic impresario Saymon Díaz, Rod Stewart surprised his fans with several costume changes and a spirited performance on stage.

Despite being cheerful for most of the show, Sir Rod Stewart jumped at the opportunity to send a message of support for Ukraine in its war against Russia with his song “Rhythm of My Heart” wearing the colors of the Ukrainian flag.

Accompanied by a 12-piece band and backing vocalists, Rod Stewart constantly interacted with the audience, performing songs like “Lady Marmalade,” “Maggie,” “It Takes Two,” “Having a Party,” “Wear it Well,” “Some Guys” and his iconic song “Forever Young.” He also included an acoustic section with “Talk about it,” “Tonight’s the night,” and “Have I told you lately” before ending the night with his classic “Sexy.”

Without a doubt, it was a concert for history that made the stones of Altos de Chavón vibrate and will leave an unforgettable memory in all those who attended.
