The 4th edition of the Bayahibe 10k Race 2016 will take place on Sunday, September 18th, starting at 7:00 am and departing from La Punta, in Bayahibe; so it’s time to sign up now and start training! It will travel a route through an important tourist area of the country, including the sector of Dominicus (where major hotel chains and craft spaces are located). The race will run through, as in every year, paved roads, forest and beach.
Bayahibe 10K marathon is an initiative of the Association of Hotels and La Romana – Bayahibe Tourism Cluster, advised by the recognized national firm Santo Domingo Corre, with the aim of promoting the sport in an idyllic environment like Bayahibe. Registration is open, for all runners wishing to participate. Medals will be awarded to everyone who completes the trail, and prizes will be given to overall winners, categories, and there will even be raffles and many surprises!
Spots are limited so sign up now! It doesn’t matter if you’re a professional or occasional runner, everyone is welcome to participate. Get your running shoes and show us what you’re made of!
