“Education, the gift that keeps on giving”, is the motto of the Fundación MIR charity which runs 3 schools in La Romana with more than 1,200 students – and so when you attend the Fundación MIR’s Family Weekend for Life this summer (August 15th) your donation will contribute to the future success of these promising and talented children.
The Fundación MIR Family Weekend is a great opportunity to not only contribute to this cause, but also to have a great time with your family and friends in Casa de Campo, where Casa de Campo residents, visitors and villa owners will enjoy a fabulous day of golf at the La Romana Country Club golf course, a tennis tournament at the La Terraza Tennis Club courts! – as well as the “Dancing for life” dinner gala.
This year, Casa de Campo villa owners, residents and visitors will enjoy a wonderful prize-giving ceremony for the enthusiastic golfers and tennis players, which will be celebrated during the spectacular Dinner and Party at Minitas Beach.

The Fundación MIR is a non-profit organization which works to provide education to the children of the greater La Romana area, who are most in need. They run 3 schools; the MIR Esperanza (boys vocational school), the Escuela Técnica Vocacional Fundación MIR (girls vocational school) and the Primaria MIR (infants school).
