Events Destination Management (EDM), specialists in event organisation, recently made a donation of audiovisual equipment for the Fundacion MIR.
Representing Events Destination Management (EDM) was Nelson Garcia who handed over the new equipment to Magdalena Cavazos, Administrative and Marketing manager for the Fundacion MIR.
The new audiovisual equipment will be used in specialist classrooms of the Campo Nuevo Esperanza, the boys vocational school at the Fundacion MIR. The Fundacion MIR runs 3 schools in La Romana, with more than 1200 students.
In addition to this donation, Events Destination Management also recently helped the the Fundacion MIR by installing the sound system in their new multi-use pavilion, which was inaugurated last month. The new multi-use pavilion of the Fundacion MIR is a place the Fundación MIR school will use for many different activities and events for their students such as assemblies, musical events and graduation ceremonies.
Events Destination Management is also a regular sponsor of the Fundacion MIR’s fundraising events, such as the Magical Splendor for Life that took place at the end of January, as well as the upcoming Family Weekend for Life in August (click here for details).
