The 9th Annual Latin America Pro-Am, held at Casa de Campo, will occur from August 14th to 19th. This prestigious golf tournament will feature two rounds on the renowned Teeth of the Dog course and two rounds on the Dye Fore course.
With an impressive registration count of 40 teams, this year’s event has already broken historical records for team participation. As the tournament grows in popularity, it solidifies its position as the top Pro-Am competition in Latin America.
Participants from various countries such as Argentina, Mexico, the USA, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Paraguay, the Virgin Islands, and the Dominican Republic will vie for victory. The event boasts an impressive lineup of professional players, including Sebastian Saavedra, Rafael Guerrero, Miguel Suarez, Julio Zapata, Francisco Bide, Nacho Brea, Tom Tarsia, Greg Martin, Gustavo Piovano, Gonzalo Piovano, Daniel Altamirano, and Vanina Colledanchise, among others.
The tournament will feature four categories based on the combined handicap index of the four amateurs and a general category to compete for the prestigious Champions Cup.
Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams in each category, including the general category. Additionally, there will be awards for the Best Approach and Hole-in-One.
This year’s tournament will be sponsored by Ron Barcelo, Titleist, and Club Car, amongst others whose contributions make this event possible.
