On Saturday the 7th of May, Golf Invitational Tournament ‘George Arzeno Brugal’ was played on Casa de Campo’s beautiful golf courses.  With 378 players taking part in the tournament, players played on all 3 of Casa de Campo’s Pete Dye designed courses; the Teeth of the Dog, the Links and the Dye Fore and more than 2 million pesos, about 52,000 dollars was raised for the ‘Centro Educativo George Arzeno Brugal – Fe y Alegria,’ a school in St Marcos which currently has 280 pupils but next year is expanding to accomodate nearly 400. Teeing off at 8.30am, the golfers were treated to spectacular weather and as much Ron Brugal as they could drink, which with so many golfers playing and it being such a hot day Brugal’s famous frozen rum cocktails were very popular! In the end Dominican golfer, Luis Garcia Dubus was the overall winner of the tournament with a best gross score of 30 points. Before we had to leave to take the FIP polo players on a trip to Palmilla, Casa de Campo Living was out and about on the Teeth of the Dog golf course taking photos of the players, here they are:
