School is out and summer is finally here – which can only mean that your kids are getting ready for camp! This year, options for camps in and around Casa de Campo are endless and there is something for every age, interest, and budget. We are positive your kids will have a blast and an unforgettable summer camp experience awaits! Going to summer camp is a big step for children and parents, but it is a wonderful way for children to practice independence, make new friends, learn about teamwork, be creative, develop new skills, and more. Casa de Campo Family Program
As is tradition, Casa de Campo Resort & Villas will be hosting its annual day camp from late June through the month of August and gives kids and teens the opportunity to enjoy a half-day schedule with horseback riding, tennis, basketball, football, watersports, art classes and so much more!
We can’t forget the all the fun that even the youngest should have during the summer! At La Vecindad, little ones from 4 to 6 years old will enjoy a schedule of crafts, sports, music, experiments, water and outdoor fun to encourage play learning and early stimulation. An extracurricular program is also available after camp hours!
Casa de Campo is home to the best golf courses in the Caribbean and the younger ones should be able to enjoy them as well. With limited enrollment (only 10 kids per class), the Summer Junior Golf Academy will bring kids ranging in ages and abilities to practice their swing, fine tune their short game and manage the course at the Caribbean’s best golfing facilities.

Polo Clinics and Horse Back Riding Lessons
Polo is a sport that promotes teamwork, responsibility, and fun! It’s also a great way for young kids to stay active and enjoy the outdoors. Polo clinics this summer will allow even the youngest players to enjoy the “Sport of the Kings!”. The clinic’s’ main goal is to teach students the values of polo, help them learn everything about the sport and fall in love with it.There are also horseback riding classes available!

Summer Junior Shooting Academy
The Junior Shooting Academy will give participants the chance to learn safe gun handling, marksmanship, and different shooting disciplines, such as trap, skeet, and sporting clays at the resort’s remarkable 245-acre Shooting Center. Sessions are available every Monday at 3:30 p.m. for $70 a month, providing a warm, fun, and traditional atmosphere for children ages 7-17 in one of the world’s finest resorts, perched on the Caribbean Sea with facilities to offer guests a challenging and exciting experience.
Going on Monday – Friday from 9a.m. to 12 p.m., children 6 to 16 years old can practice tennis with the help of qualified instructors. The sport not only allows kids to work on their hand-eye coordination, it also provides excellent outdoor exercise and recreation. While kids will enjoy two hours on the courts, they’ll also have the opportunity to play soccer and volleyball, and get in the pool! It’s the all-around camp to enjoy summer sports in Casa de Campo!!

Stage Art Studio Summer Camp
Performing arts can help outgoing and introverted children alike express themselves freely and put their creativity to work. With comprehensive and professional programs includings film, musical theatre, acrobatics, jazz, hip hop, ballet, flamenco dancing and more, your child will will have the summer of a lifetime at this top-notch arts studio in La Romana.
Dance is an excellent way to keep children physical, energetic, and practice their social skills; not to mention, they have a blast! It’s recommended that children and adolescents get at least an hour of moderate-to-vigorous activity every day and what better way to do so that at Pointé!

The Orfanato Niños de Cristo in La Romana will hold their own summer camp and it’s going to be awesome!!! All week from 8:00am – 3:00pm, children can join the boys in athletics including basketball, baseball, soccer, gymnastics, and karate! They’ll also be able to partake in drawing, dancing, ecological walks and recreational activities. It’s a wonderful opportunity for your kids to be outdoors and active and involved in a local charity.

Kyra Montagu at Ki-Ra Holistic Living has prepared a very special summer camp program for kids to get in touch with natural rhythms and embrace holistic living! It’s a week filled with fun activities they will not forget! They’ll enjoy bonfires on the beach, swimming, scavenger hunts, capoeira, mud baths, obstacle courses and more outdoor activities.
