Good and bad news for all our golfing friends! The bad news is that the 1st annual La Romana – Bayahibe Golf Tournament will not be played this Saturday September the 22nd as planned, but the good news is that it has been postponed and will take place on Saturday November 24th instead! Arguably a much better date!
This golf tournament is open to everyone and is part many activities and events organized by the La Romana – Bayahibe Tourism Cluster with the purpose to develop the La Romana – Bayahibe region into one of the Dominican Republic’s most popular tourist destinations!
So for all those who have not yet signed up – here are the details!
1st annual La Romana – Bayahibe Golf Tournament
When: Saturday November 24th 2012, from 7:30am
Tee off: 9am (shotgun)
Where: The La Estancia Golf Resort (easily reachable via the new ”Autopista del Coral” La Romana – Punta Cana highway in 5 minutes from La Romana and just 30minutes from Punta Cana!)
Format: “Stroke Play” Individual with 100% hándicap
Categories: A, B and C
Prizes for: the 3 best net scores, the overall best gross score and the overall best net score
Cost: RD$6,000
Includes: Breakfast and lunch, golf cart, green fee, practice balls
