The La Romana-Bayahibe Hotel Association successfully concluded its 10th La Romana Golf Tournament on Saturday, June 3rd, in honor of the businessman and CEO of InterEnergy, Mr. Rolando González-Bunster.
The event took place at The Links golf course in the Casa de Campo Resort & Villas tourist complex and had the participation of over 100 golfers from across the country.

I want to express my sincere gratitude to the La Romana-Bayahibe Hotel Association for organizing this wonderful event in my honor. I feel very fortunate to contribute to promoting tourism and the sustainable development of the La Romana Destination through this event.”

Luis Matos and Radhames Peña were proclaimed the tournament winners, achieving the best Gross Overall Score with an impressive 63 (-8) score. Jojjan Caceres and Elvis Mallol secured first place in the net men’s category with a 59 (-12) score. In the Women’s category, Josefina Pichardo and Katherine Méndez became champions with a 71 (-1) score.

In addition to the competition, the participants enjoyed a specially prepared lunch. They had a pleasant time together, receiving fabulous prizes such as airline tickets and hotel stays in the area.
