A member of the Casa de Campo community, Fernando Flaquer, continues his successful path in the G&K DR Plant and shares with us his most recent achievements within the company.

G&K Services was founded in 1902 as a small family business and is now a leading uniform and services company in the United States and Canada, but has been in the Dominican Republic since they built their manufacturing plant in the San Isidro Free Zone in 1994. The San Isidro Free Zone is located in Santo Domingo Este, 10 minutes past the Las Americas Airport. Modern and impeccable, it is home to some 32 major corporations.
Fernando Flaquer, General Manager and Director of Contract Services in the G&K, as well as an enduring member of the Casa de Campo community, was given prominence, in the annual General Managers meeting, for restructuring the manufacturing plant in the Dominican Republic, along with external contractors.
“I was hired in this position in February 2013 as part of a project to restructure GK’s manufacturing base in the Dominican Republic, as well as externally (contractors). From this state of the art center, we manage the DR, Mexico, Haiti and other countries in Central America. This has been a tremendous opportunity to continue with what I have always done with local professionals as well as those from the U.S. that I have known for the past 27 years.” Fernando Flaquer told Casa de Campo Living.
