prince monacoThe Consul of the Principality of Monaco in the Dominican Republic, Sonia Villanueva de Brouwer and her husband Wilhelm Brouwer, both Casa de Campo villa owners, earlier this year hosted a piano recital with the renowned Philippe Entremont. Sonia Villanueva de Brouwer and her husband Wilhelm Brouwer, hosted the cocktail in March of this year at their Santo Domingo residence in celebration of French culture and was attended by Blandine Kreiss, ambassador of France for the Dominican Republic, numerous members of the French-Dominican Chamber of Commerce as well as both government and diplomatic dignitaries representing a variety of different Francophile countries, such as France, Morocco, Canada, Switzerland, Haiti, and Belgium.

As part of Altos de Chavón’s 30th anniversary celebrations and the French Dominican Chamber of Commerce (CCDF) 25th anniversary, Casa de Campo and the CCDF, sponsored by the French Embassy in the Dominican Republic celebrated the “Semana de Francia” French Festival, an extraordinary 4 day event which converted Altos de Chavón into a typical “petite village Francaise” with numerous business and cultural activities from Thursday March 22nd to Sunday March 25th 2012!
